Grief and Loss
I have a particular interest in working with those experiencing grief and loss. When you lose someone you love, it can feel unreal but at the same time all consuming. Like your heart might break. In the words of Zoe Clark-Coates "...it changes your life forever, it's not something you "get over", the loss becomes part of you". If you let me, I will sit with you while you bear the unbearable, I'll support you through your tears, your anger, and your sadness in ways others may not be able to. I can hold your hand if you need me to, or I can just sit with you, but I will be right by your side so you don't feel so alone.
Anxiety or Depression
If you struggle with anxiety or depression, you will know how desperately isolating it can be. Feeling anxious is not a negative emotion, it is an evolutionary development to help keep us safe. And everyone experiences low moods from time to time, emotions and feelings come and go. However, when you feel anxious on a daily basis, and the fear of panic attacks stops you in your tracks; or you feel so low you cannot find any motivation, to the point where it impacts your everyday life, that's the time to seek help. Together, one step at a time, we will work on the anxiety symptoms, using specific breathing techniques which can reduce them. We can work together to find ways to increase your motivation and help you to explore what works for you in helping you feel better.
If negative automatic thoughts are a regular occurrence then we can work on ways to notice and dispute them to restore your peace of mind. I also work with Illness; loneliness; identity and more, but even if you're not sure if I'm the right fit for you, please give me a call on 07791531755 or drop me an email using the contact form below ... because I may be able to help you find someone who is.

Should you wish to make an appointment, please either use the contact form below or call me on 07791531755. Both options are accessed ONLY by myself so your confidentiality and discretion are assured.
The fee for each session is £60.00, payable 24 hours in advance to secure the appointment. Fees are subject to change, annually, with 28 days notice.
A session will typically last for 50 minutes, and take place once per week, details of address will be emailed prior to commencement of sessions.
I will keep track of time during each session so it is one less thing you need to worry about. I will also give a reminder when there is 10 minutes left in the session, in order to have some time to reflect on the session, make another appointment, and to prepare you for moving on with your day.
With regards to the number of sessions you may require, this can vary greatly from person to person. I am open to working both short term (normally 6-10 sessions), or longer term in an open ended way, depending on what you feel you may need.
If possible I request at least 24 hours notice of cancellation and offer the same in return. Cancellations within the 24 hour period will still be chargeable due to cost incurred, and no further appointments will be offered until payment is made.
